It's a cozy, stormy day here in Nashville...perfect for staying in and updating! I'm really excited for a bunch of things I have coming up. I've added some more shows in Nashville, as well as in Tulsa w/ JoDee Messina, East Texas w/ Charlie Robison, and Houston, some great opening slots, and maybe even some work with GAC...keep checking back as I continue to add more.
I'm also proud to announce my joining of Sound Kitchen Productions! They book some AMAZING Folk, Country and Bluegrass acts nationwide. (Cadillac Sky, Mountain Heart, The Chapmans, Act of Congress, Bethany Dick, Alvarado Road Show, Hardline Drive, and others). Sound Kitchen will be working to put me on a bigger show circuit & bring me closer to you guys...so expect to see a lot more of me this summer!
As for all other things going on in my life - I'm writing more than ever, Summer's getting closer, and I have a lot of promising things in the works for my new material...not much to complain about. Thanks for stopping by. I'm gonna go sit on my porch and enjoy the rain before I head to yoga. :)
I'll check back in when I can.
XO, Kacey
I can remember being 12 years old and SO ecstatic because I heard my music on the radio for the first time...I'll never forget that feeling. It was because of a guy named Jason Hightower. He truly was one of the first people that supported and listened to me, and he was someone who believed in his community and made it a better place. I've been very, very lucky in having Mineola, Golden and all of East Texas put their arms around me and my music. I know I could also speak for my friend and fellow East Texan, Miranda Lambert, when I say 'I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for the help and support of people like Jason.' I'm blessed to have had the time with him that I did. We'll miss you, Jason!
Thank you to each and every one of you who have helped me in the least bit throughout the years...I'll never forget it!
Love,
Kacey
